It is inspirational and to add icing to the cake, it is based on a true story. Coach Lootie Pfandder (Jamie Luner) comes to St. Tammany and has different methods than the school is used to. She can’t believe they don’t want her to think outside the box.
But as she builds up confidence in her team the director of the school, Father Thomas Mulberry (Jeffrey Meek), begins to see her positive influence on the Episcopal school’s team. Soon the girls begin to win consistently and reporters and the media begin to label it a miracle, which rankles Coach Lootie, who says it was hard work and determination which has turned the team around. Still, when they come up against a formidable opponent for the State Championship, the Pilots, it seems like a miracle may be needed to defeat the seemingly girl- giants on the team. This film will encourage the viewer that hard work and perseverance can turn things around. It has a positive message and shows everyday people living spiritual lives. We gladly award our Dove Seal to this movie.
